We have just installed one of the first Paymark Eftpos Networks Contactless (or Tap and Go) Eftpos Terminals in Canterbury. Subway Bush Inn on Riccarton Road is up and running with the Ingenico i5100 terminal with 3100 Contactless Reader.
Contactless terminals are designed to speed up transactions primarily for Visa and Mastercard customers in fast service types of industries. ASB along with ANZ and Kiwi Bank have started issuing contactless cards in NZ. ASB is the first Paymark bank to pilot and trial the contactless solution in NZ. Contactless transactions have an $80 limit .
